DirectX Audio Problems

Ok everytime I startup RMVX it pops-up and says
"Failed to initialize DirectX Audio"

Now I have search up on this as my whole Latop's sound has gone out-a-whack
I've updated drivers I have a soundcard in my laptop It's only like 5 or 6 months old
so I doubt it needs a new one

I have try'd re-installing and un-installing the drivers today
maybe it's a virus? I just scaned so maybe... It was.

Really stumped here

It's happend to me before so what I did was buy new sound card Update every freaking file installed Direct X updated it Closed all unnecesarry process Fully Scanned my computer and finnaly I got into RPG Maker Vx. I got a total of 186 Updates and 5 Viruses XD.

That is alot of updates...

Anyways scaned I had viruses but still didn't fix my problem...
I'll try resotring my computer...

I have a back-up of my files on a drive so i'll just have to see
if restoring it works (hopefully it doe's)

Usually this is caused by the DirectX audio driver. Update to 9.0c, if that doesn't work, you may need to re-install your sound driver.
